3 tips for planning a successful Winter wedding to ensure that your big day runs smoothly. Winter weddings can be beautiful and romantic but the darker mornings and evenings, unpredictable weather and freezing temperatures can come with their own problems. If you're having a Winter wedding, don't stress! The following tips will go a long way in helping you to prepare for your big day.

1) Keep Warm

Whether you choose to opt for a long sleeved wedding dress, or invest in capes for you and your bridesmaids, you will want to ensure that you wrap up warm for your big day, particularly for the wedding photos! Wedding photography can take a long time and purple arms are not a good look for your wedding photos, so ensuring you are warm is a must. Tights may also be a good idea for you and your bridesmaids, if your wedding dress is long enough. Lastly, disposable hand warmers are great to keep handy for when you and your guests are feeling the freeze!

2) Look After your Skin

Winter brings with it dry skin and chapped lips, so keep your skin well moisturised and apply chapstick to your lips regularly to keep them looking beautiful in your wedding photos. Staying hydrated will also help to eliminate skin dryness.

3) Keep Umbrellas Close By

With Winter weddings it is always a good idea to ensure you have some spare umbrellas around for the unpredictable English weather. Not only will they keep you and guests dry but they can look super cute for rainy wedding photographs, particularly if you use a white umbrella, as the light reflects them, making your wedding photographs look super effective with a flash.
